At Kiwanis International, from 2011-2014, I led a team of creatives to launch branding and creative materials for The Eliminate Project, Kiwanis’ global initiative to eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus (MNT), with UNICEF. We developed a creative strategy, honed the brand and messaging, and created materials for adult and youth audiences, both member-facing and external. Our work included video, print, web, social media, events and more. As part of the project, I traveled to the Philippines to blog and tweet on the progress of the campaign. The Eliminate Project concluded in 2020. It raised money for lifesaving vaccines, health education and safe birth environments for the world’s poorest and most vulnerable populations and helped eliminate MNT from 27 countries.
